Title: The cannabinergic system and the control of movement.

Pavel Rueda Orozco, PhD

Dr. Pavel Rueda is a senior researcher at the Institute of Neurobiology, part of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). His research focuses on understanding the neural circuits and computations involved in the learning and execution of automatic movements and motor habits. He earned his degree in psychology from UNAM's Faculty of Psychology and later completed a PhD in Biomedical Sciences at the same institution. Dr. Rueda conducted postdoctoral research at the Institute of Cellular Physiology at UNAM. He also held a Marie Curie postdoctoral fellowship, working at both the August Pi i Sunyer Biomedical Research Institute in Barcelona, Spain, and the Mediterranean Institute of Neurobiology in Marseille, France. He has published more than thirty peer-reviewed articles in indexed international journals and is a Level 2 member of the Mexican National System of Researchers.
