Amy James PhD
Dr. Amy Janes obtained her Ph.D. in Psychology at Boston University and subsequently spent 15 years at Harvard Medical School’s McLean Hospital where she was last an Associate Professor of Psychiatry using neuroimaging to study substance use. Currently, Dr. Janes is a Senior Investigator directing the Cognitive and Pharmacological Neuroimaging unit at the National Institute of Drug Abuse Intramural Research Program. She has received several awards for her work and mentoring and is actively engaged in the scientific community through activities such as serving as President of the College on Problems of Drug Dependence.
